Snowy Spring

Aren’t we, too, impatiently waiting for the real spring to finally come?  I’m so looking forward to wearing all this spring’s beautiful dresses and feel warm in them!

She seems brave.

Not for long, though…

Dreams From Morocco

She lives in Vienna in a pretty cool and unusual apartment building.

Here’s a little story behind it. In 1896 Viennese authorities decided to invest in large-scale gas and electric utilities, so they constructed what became Europe’s largest gas plant. After nearly a century long run the plant was decommissioned, and left behind were four massive gasometers. These incredible structures were cast off, but a recent revitalization project led by Jean Nouvel, Coop Himmelb(l)au, Manfred Wehdorn, and Wilhelm Holzbauerhave transformed these four tanks into spectacular and thriving communities. Astrid’s traveled the world, but she’s completely in love with Morocco.  There she is on her recent trip to this magical country.  She’s headed to a souk, because she decided to recreate the atmosphere that enchants her so much in her apartment.

Quite some choice.
